In 2016, this artist from Horsten (Germany) created this installation with larch wood, iron and dolomite, to protect the beauty of the Dolomites landscape and the positive energies that are released here.

In 2017, the Trentino artist installed the work, created with hazel wood and copper to offer a “still image” of a raindrop slipping through the branches. A “sacred” moment that normally escapes visual perception.

The artist and professor who lives both in Milan and in Val di Fiemme installed an artwork in front of Monte Cornon dedicated to the “Cornon’s Witch”. The witches used to throw on the street a rope, full of knots, impossible to be untied. Those who collected the rope had to go to the witches to remove those knots.

The artist, designer and architect who uses to work between Milan and Poland created the installation in 2016 with wood and hemp. It represents two bodies, back to back, ready to receive the universal energy on the Dolomites. The work invites you to sit down to admire the Pale di San Martino or the Pala Santa landscape.

The German artist Thorsten Schütt was invited to the RespirArt Park to create a remake of the work "Avalanche of bubbles of thoughts" sculpted in Pampeago in 2012. His larch spheres evoke the shape of the thoughts that overwhelm every artist during the inspiration. The cascade of spheres is also visible from the Agnello chairlift. Another work by this artist from Horsten (Germany) is the “Warrior of Peace of the Dolomites” and has been located near Rifugio Monte Agnello since 2016.

In an overconnected world, we talk together through marks that replace looks and words. In 2017, the artist from Tesero (Trento) expressed his beloved longing for unhurried, expressive and sonorous dialogues, creating an installation with four swinging Swiss pine chairs.

The artist from Englburg (Germany) in 2018 anchored a carabiner to the rock. He sculpted it in a granite block from the Bavarian Forest. According to Mader, when the directions of life are confused, you can always climb a peak to reconnect yourself to the immensity.

A bare tree opens to the celestial vault to receive energy and its transparencies: air, water, heat and light. He feeds on what the earth’s atmosphere offers, with a sense of gratitude. The artist from Padua created it in 2015 with a larch trunk and steel plates.

The art installation invites all the people to look at the world through the eyes of the tree. It has been created with carved and painted birches in 2019 by this Venice Academy of Fine Arts from Dro (Trentino). It’s has been her very first environmental art installation.

In 2014, the Canadian artist brought the culture of the Nuu-chah-nulth (i.e. “along the Mountains”) native people to Italy, still able to provide themselves just with natural resources. The Canadian cedar wood artwork invites to manage natural resources with balance, since everything is connected.

The 2017 British-Swiss artist installation plays with a mix of far but connected identities. Created with ropes and larch wood, the artwork seems to return every virtual moves to the earth. And it reminds us how conditioned we are by our daily access to the Net.

The conical structure evokes the ancient oven used to cook ceramic sculptures. Inside, however, there is not a work handcrafted by a man but a large stone smoothed by time and shaped by nature. In 2019 the Polish artist and his students from the Warsaw Academy of Art created it with spruce trees that have been root out by the wind in the territory of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme.

In 2019, the artist from Riva del Garda (Trentino) dedicated a statue to the volcanologist, mineralologist and geologist who discovered the dolomite. Created by recycling the roofs of old huts, the artwork has been made as a first 10 years of the UNESCO Dolomites celebration.

This artist from Trentino (Lavarone, 1954-2018) created an installation in 2013 with the different wooden essences that he collected during his travels. It represents a guardian who watches over visitors, ready to capture every mood and return it to the earth.

In 2016, the Trentino artist (Lavarone, 1954-2018) wanted to remember that Latemar emerged from the sea 20-25 million years ago. On a stone slab with some fossils of shells (ammonites), he engraved other clams. The engravings and fossils are highlighted with the bolus, a special kind of clay dust of nearby Monte Cornon that has been used by shepherds as well.

The Swedish artist has placed lichen embroidery on four swiss pines. “It took me many months to embroider and crochet these lichens”, she said. “It is a slow work, really symbiotic with the extended times of nature and with its colors. It is time well spent, because it shows the relationship of dependence between the tree and the lichen. We cannot live without each other and we cannot live without trees as well”.

In 2019 the Trentino Terrae Group artists recreated the effects of the October 29th 2018 Vaia storm, assembling the wind-broken woods they found near the park. The installation invites you to observe the destructive force of nature alongside the powerful push for rebirth, represented by the young plants growing behind the work.

In 2018 the Italian-Swedish artist and architect brought Scandinavian mythology to the Latemar. Sleipnir, the mythical eight-legged horse of Odin, makes you recall the relationship between man and nature. Among its legs we can all live a more authentic experience of the time.

In 2017, the Gioia Tauro (Reggio Calabria) artist created a radiant installation with corten steel. The work invites the observer to identify the mysterious “highways of heaven” told by Carlo Acutis, in the process of beatification.

Since 2012 the installation of the RespirArt park founder repeats the rocky profiles of the Latemar, the Dolomites massif. This artwork is a real theater that hosts any kind of shows every summer. The audience sits on larch cubes, among blueberry bushes and rhododendrons.

In 2014 the artist from Tesero (Trento) created a 5 meters high totem, with geometric shapes interacting each other. Fire, larch wood and red clay from Mount Cornon are the three elements that tell the story of the Val di Fiemme people.

It is the first italian installation of the Cleveland, Ohio landartist. In 2015 she created a kind of mosaic where each wood – birch branches, Swiss stone pine and hazel trees – represents a human cell. The empty space, the mind, focuses on the Latemar nature. The structure is static as much as the nature keeps moving. “A human being often places himself as a static observer of the beauty that surrounds him”, the artist explained, “without realizing that he himself is nature, nature in movement."

In 2013 the Japanese artist, one of the most famous in the world (1940-2018), enthusiastically embraced RespirArt’s artistic dream. He created an installation dedicated to Danae, a figure of the Greek mythology, made with Trentino porphyry, a kind of stone labyrinth that encloses a great boulder surrounded by flowers. Nagasawa believed fate so much that, during his long bicycle trip from Japan to Europe, he decided to stop and live in Milan just because his bike has been stolen there, leaving him no chances to go further.

The two land artists, and founders of the Humus Park in Pordenone, have designed an installation of iron, branches and moss clods for the International Environmental Art Event at RespirArt from July 18th to 25th 2020. Their work reveals the punctuation of nature. Its plot is very clear and sequential. Nature uses many commas to make us pay attention to what we do, to slow us down, to invite us to reflect, to make us take a breath. When nature writes a period, she stops us and she does it like an angry parent who cannot tame the rebel son: little presumptuous human being, that’s enough. Stop and start again.

The Italian-Swiss artist, founder of the RespirArt Park, has designed a conical installation 6 meters high. The work will be made with bark beetle wood or wood carved from a small insect, the typographic bark beetle. This industrious parasite with its curious incisions has destroyed many fir trees in Val di Fiemme. However, the artist is convinced that the wood worked by the parasite could guarantee extraordinary uses for art and design. The cone will stand out at the arrival of the Agnello chairlift and, like a hollow tree, will allow visitors to stop inside, to experience the sensation of being a conifer.

The 2012 artwork frames the Latemar. For the San Vito di Cadore (Veneto) artist, the gothic thrones express the sacredness of nature. We can lose ourselves in a panorama that transmutes in front of us. Why do we have to fear changes? Life is just an endless transformation.

Its chrysalis envelops stones of the park as if to reveal an embryonic state, a secret life, a form of life only sketched out. Poetically, the artist imagines infinite worlds and forms of life that are still possible. Its cocoons of symbolic energy, its iron knots and its designs invite you to establish a direct relationship with matter.

21 years after the "Tension 1" project, created in 1999 in Canada when the world was entering the new millennium with great uncertainty, "Tension 2" in a new period of future unknown, grappling with the pandemic, represents a moment to stop to think and hope for a new breath of fresh air without fear of being infected. Breathe in art. A new project with a new shape and new spatial and temporal relationships. Different times, different places… different people, spaces and light.

A work composed of three symbolic parts: the cloud, the rain and the boat. The reference is the biblical one of the flood and salvation through Noah's Ark. The rain descends from the dark cloud in the form of solid sharp poles, but the boat collects it and contains it in its belly, generating salvation for man and Nature.

The wooden avalanche barriers that overlook some areas of the art park are often admired for their architecture and are signs of man that intersect with signs of nature. The Milanese artist Alessandra Bruno has painted a golden triangle on one of these avalanche barriers, to suggest showing gratitude to the civil protection structures and to those who use their hours for the common good. The work appears as a dreamlike vision, an arpeggio, a moving gesture of harmony between man and nature.

The artist born in Bolzano in 1950, lives and works in Ville di Fiemme among signs, colors and words. His installation is titled “Loro” and is created with the painting of sheet metal shapes. The artist, inspired by the Apulian olive trees affected by Xylella, accompanies his work with these words “They. Immortal in our mortal eyes. Mutants for us are trivially changeable. They. The vulìe of a Salento. Who loves and changes. With them".

Born in Ferla (Syracuse) in 1950, he moved to Germany in the early 70s and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Safe, by shaping the iron, it creates knots, twists and alien geometries. At RespirArt he created in 2022 a second work with wire set between two large stones as if to form a mysterious dome where you can stop to admire the sky.

Zest Artist Collective - ZAC is an international collaboration of six artists from Peru, Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain, in deep relationship with the place and with nature. The “Residenza Insecta” project was conceived by the collective and was created by Imke Rust and Sally Kidall. The installation is a steel wool insect house that highlights the importance of positive collaboration between humans and diverse living things within our ecosystems. Residenza Insecta is a human interpretation of the habitat of insects, imitating the way they build their nests and live in organized colonies.

The artists Jan Langer and Markus Gasser will create an installation made up of birch hexagons that wrap around some rocks and synthesize their shapes, evoking the structure of the coral and therefore the genesis of the Dolomites. The three-dimensional work, in fact, takes us back 200-265 million years when the Dolomite Region was mainly a marine environment. Jan Langer, musician and land artist from Grissiano focuses on ephemeral environmental art. Langer works alongside the sculptor Markus Gasser, born in Bolzano and living in Bressanone, known for his stone works.
