Lanusei artist Stefania Lai presents the installation “Presidio”: three volumes evoking the shapes of small, softly lined houses. The triptych focuses on the relationship between human and nonhuman, the memory of the landscape’s wounds, the feminine as a generative force, the ritual dimension of gesture, and the possibility of transforming space into a poetic, sonic, and relational threshold. The presence of a bell reveals its connection to the memory of Maria Lai, a great artist from Ogliastra.
