Jan Langer e Markus Gasser, 2023
The artists Jan Langer and Markus Gasser will create an installation made up of birch hexagons that wrap around some rocks and synthesize their shapes, evoking the structure of the coral and therefore the genesis of the Dolomites. The three-dimensional work, in fact, takes us back 200-265 million years when the Dolomite Region was mainly a marine environment.
Jan Langer, musician and land artist from Grissiano focuses on ephemeral environmental art. Langer works alongside the sculptor Markus Gasser, born in Bolzano and living in Bressanone, known for his stone works.
